Aponian is a diamoric orientation for genderless, agenrine and/or agiaspec people who are attracted (exclusively or not) to other genderless people. This term can be used by anyone on the genderless spectrum, (for example: demiagender, agender woman/man, some bigender and genderfluid people, genderflux, ect) as long as one is agenrine and/or agiaspec. This is an umbrella term encompassing all orientations that include genderless people's attraction to other genderless people.
Aponian is the genderless counterpart to sapphic, achillean, enbian and xyric. The agender counterpart to aponian is agenamoric. Aponian is the diamoric term for all genderless people whereas agenamoric was made with specifically agender people in mind. Agenamoric could be considered to be under the aponian umbrella.

Flags
The Aponian flag was created by Tumblr user Queerness-Lover (Fandom user IIAprionII). The gray represents the genderless part of the term. It appears to mimic the diamoric flag.
The user also created an alternate flag. The green cross matches the green stripes in the agenrine, agender and agiaspec flags. The other colors were taken from the gendervoid and other flags.
History
Aponian was created by Tumblr user Queerness-Lover (Fandom user IIAprionII) on July 7th, 2021. Many of the orientations for agender/genderless people were coined by Fandom user Reign of the breadsticcs.
Etymology
The suffix "apon" comes from the Greek word "apón" meaning "absent", due to the absence of gender.
