Aponian is a diamoric orientation for genderless, agenrine and/or agiaspec people who are attracted (exclusively or not) to other genderless people. This term can be used by anyone on the genderless spectrum, (for example: demiagender, agender woman/man, some bigender and genderfluid people, genderflux, ect) as long as one is agenrine and/or agiaspec. This is an umbrella term encompassing all sexualities that include genderless people's attraction to other genderless people.
The agender counterpart, and a similar term, to aponian is agenamoric. Aponian is the diamoric version for all genderless genders whereas agenamoric was made with specifically agender people in mind. Agenamoric could be considered to be under the aponian umbrella. Aponian is also the genderless counterpart of sapphic, achillean, enbian and xyric

Flags
The offical Aponian flag was created by fandom user ||Aprion|| on tumblr. Before x already did two flags that was put as an alternative of the official flag. The gray represent the genderless part of the term.
The green cross represent the color of Agenrine, Agender and Agiaspec flags. The other colors was taken from the Gendervoid flag and other flags.
History
The term was created on July 7th 2021 on tumblr by Queerness-Lover/fandom user IIAprionII. All the sexualities stated for agender/genderless people, was created on a post on Tumblr and by fandom user Reign of the breadsticcs.
Apon- comes from the Greek which means "absent", due to the absence of gender.
