The Aplatonic Spectrum, otherwise known as the Aplatonic Umbrella, is a group of platonic orientations that full under the umbrella term of aplatonic. People on the aplatonic spectrum may lack platonic attraction or feel it so little that they relate more to aplatonic experiences. The common link between people on the aplatonic spectrum is that they do not feel the "standard" amount of platonic attraction or they don't feel it in the "standard" way, that alloplatonic people do.
People on the aplatonic spectrum are often referred to as "apl-spec" for short. Apl-spec people can have any sexual or romantic orientation, including ace/aro-spec or allosexual/romantic identities.

Although the aplatonic flag can be used to represent the aplatonic spectrum, a flag was created that represents all apl-spec people, not just focusing on people who are purely aplatonic. The flag was created by Tumblr user Dexter on July 3rd, 2020 [1]. The flag is made in the style of the ace-spec and aro-spec flags, and it uses the same color progression (two similar colors, purple, red, orange, pink, and blue). The colors were taken from multiple aplatonic flags and are adjusted to be more cohesive. It is unknown flag has any meaning to it.
