For some apothiplatonics, they are repulsed at the idea of engaging in platonicism themselves, but are fine with platonicism that does not involve them. Others may be repulsed by the idea of platonicism in general. Those who are apothiplatonic typically do not seek out platonic relationships and many dislike activities that they view as platonic or that are motivated by platonic attraction.
The apothiplatonic flag was created before June 25, 2016 and submitted anonymously to DevianArt user pride-flags.[1] An alternate flag was designed by pride-flags that same day.[2]

The prefix apothi- comes from the Greek word apothisan, meaning repulsed.
