    Our DNI List

TW For a few swears and mentions of the following: abuse, queerphobia, transphobia, gatekeeping, Trump, fetishization, paraphilia, p/dophilia (e), incest, ableism, racism, anti-shippers, climate change, “cringe”, food, animals, d//th threats (ea), s//c/de (ui, i), problematic figures, reclaimed identities, unreclaimed slur (not explicitly said)

    CW For bold text

To be honest, I really shouldn't even have to write any of this because this is ridiculous. /vneg

I know that this list is long because it's in two parts, so I greatly apologize in advance. However, I think that it's proper for us to put this down just to be safe and clear and after leaving the discussion pages. If any of the situations below describe you, then please do not interact. /gen /srs - Danni (he/they/it+) - Systeroamia

If you mock, don’t believe, or hate on:

    • Any good-faith LGBTQ+ sexualities, including any a-spec identities and objectum identities (attraction to inanimate objects), hetero-aligned identities, or instead believe that they're not LGBTQ+, or instead believe in harmful stereotypes (ex: all gay men are feminine, trans women are just cis men trying to attack women, non-binary individuals should all be androgynous, etc.)
    • Aplatonic(-spectrum), aqueerplatonic(-spectrum), loveless romantics, loveless aromantics, etc. individuals
    • Ace/Aro positivity
    • Transgender, intersex, non-binary, genderqueer, xenogender, neurogender, aesthetigender, etc., multi-spec lesbian, or lesboy identities
    • Gender non-conforming men/women/non-binary folks, drag artists (queens, kings, monarchs/queers, things), or instead believe that only men should do drag
    • Polyamorous, ambiamorous, queerplatonic/alterous relationships, or any other non-monogamous relationship identities
    • Microlabels or the use of multiple, or lack of, labels
    • Neopronouns, xenopronouns, using no pronouns, men who don't use he/him pronouns, women who don't use she/her pronouns, non-binary folks who don't use they/them pronouns, name non-conforming identities (including not identifying with any name), etc.
    • LGBTQ+ folks who are straight-passing, monogamous-passing, masculine men(-aligned) who are LGBTQ+, feminine women(-aligned) who are LGBTQ+, etc., or instead believe that pronouns equal gender
    • AAVE words (African American Vernacular English), or instead using them if you're racist or ignorant to black culture and issues
    • Climate change or global warming
    • Those into anime, kpop, jpop, etc., especially hating on groups like BTS and Vocaloid for no reason
    • Religious folks, agnostic folks, or atheists (the “don’t believe” part doesn’t count here as anyone can have different beliefs /nm)
    • Pacifism, anarcho-pacifism, etc. (the “don’t believe” part doesn’t count here either, just don’t be a jerk about it /nm)
    • Kink pride at pride (not to be confused with sex and nudity /srs)
    • Cops at pride
    • Children at pride or instead believe that they're "too young" to figure themselves out
    • Age regressors and/or species regressors, littlespace
    • Furries, or instead believe that they are zoophiles or into beastality
    • Artists, entrepreneurs, etc, or instead believe that they are not real jobs or should get "real" jobs
    • Alterhumans/otherkin/etc identities
    • Systems/plurals/medians, endogenic/non-traugmetic systems, system-partnerships, or instead treat members/headmates/alters, or even fictives, factives, or introjects like they are not real individuals
    • Vaccines or masks, therapy, mental health, basically anti-primitivism
    • All pedophiles (please say child molesters instead, pedophile is not the right word you’re thinking of /nm)
    • NSFW ageplay (it’s not child molesting if they’re consenting adults /vsrs)
    • Certain triggers or putting down trigger warnings or tone tags, including trigger warnings about mental issues such as autism, or lacking/refusing to put warnings overall (please do not block us for disagreeing with a rule. We find the rule of not TWing mental issues very unjustifiable for those who genuinely have trauma and flashbacks regarding the topic but also respect those who are neurodivergent at the same time. This is coming from both an autistic individual and from many neurodivergent individuals in our system. /vsrs)
    • Those who don’t like or use social media for many reasons (ex: to avoid drama)
    • Vegans or vegetarians
    • School drop outs
    • Geminis, Scorpios, or any other zodiac sign and think that they’re all toxic, liars, cheaters, etc. That or instead believing that specific traits apply to all Cancers, Leos, or whatever else zodiac sign (we’re not all the f**king same, please stop /vsrs /vu). The same goes for types based off of sites like 16personalities
    • The idea of DNI lists in general

If you support or are a part of:

    • Exclusionary groups (ex: TERFS/Radfems, SWERFS, ace/aro-spec exclusionists, transmedicalists/truscum, anti-MOGAI, "battle axe bi", "longsword lesbian", pluralphobe, sysmedicalists, etc.)
    • Believing that certain non-harmful LGBTQ+ terms are "weird", "an excuse", "fake", or "looking for attention" (ex: believing that autosexual/autoromantic is narcissism)
    • Not believing or gatekeeping non-harmful users of harmful originated terms or terms that were not supposed to be problematic (queer as a reclaimed term, an anime/animatesexual who is genuinely ace-spec and attracted to anime characters, a cis user identifying as ceterosexual, etc.) Similarly, calling users or labels homophobic, racist, sexist, intersexist, etc. when there is no proof, or using reclaimed slurs that you have no right to use.
    • Gatekeeping those who identify as womxn from using womxn, or speaking for all women to use or not use “womxn”
    • Gatekeeping those who do conform to LGBTQ+ stereotypes, or gatekeeping things such as aesthetic pride boards, all to "prevent promoting stereotypes" (why /vneg)
    • Purposefully misgendering or deadnaming someone, even when they're problematic or make you upset (it's so childish and disappointing /vneg)
    • Believing that someone is transphobic if they don't prefer dating or having sex with trans folk but they respect and support trans folk at the same time (not all reasons are transphobic - and I'm transmasc /vsrs)
    • Fetishizing or infantilizing others based off of their race, ethnicity, being transgender, being non-binary, being gender non-conforming, or sex characteristics, or seeing us as (sexual) objects or entertainment
    • Fatophobia/fat shaming, or any other kind of body shaming
    • Toxic masculinity, including making fun of small p/nises (e), or think that size matters (it doesn't, stfu. /neg)
    PSA
Stop making small penis jokes. Stop making fun of small penises in general. It just ties to toxic masculinity, and it is interphobic because some folks are born with micropenises, and transphobic because some trans folk prefer having small penises. Real feminists don't body shame. /vsrs /neg
    • Donald Trump and/or his ideologies or any other far-right or far-conservative ideologies
    • Shane Dawson, Snowy Joe, Keemstar, Sia, or anyone similar (the “a part of” doesn’t count here because you can still enjoy their stuff while not supporting them /g)
    • Anti-feminism, sexism, cissexism, catcalling, anti-abortion, slut-shaming, touching without their permission, sexual assault, etc.
    • Use the term "snowfl/ke (a)" to describe someone negatively
    • Tradwives who believes that every woman(-aligned) should also be one and submit to their partners
    • “Feminism" while getting angry/mock/disliking women(-aligned) and womxn who like doing things deemed as feminine
    • Anti-shippers, fandom-police, etc. or just gatekeeping/harassing ships in general. Yes, I said it. It's fiction. Y'all f**king disgust me.
    PSA
A cishet liking BL or LGBTQ+ stories or ships doesn't automatically mean that they're fetishizing gay men. Boyfriends and Heartstopper are wholesome pieces of art. Just because someone started being supportive or figured out that they're LGBTQ+ through fictional works doesn't mean that they're terrible. Y'all need to stop being so freaking hateful about the art styles and what these characters wear or whatever. Not only that, but it's extremely similar to homophobia and transphobia - you know, things that we struggle with!

Unless someone is shipping real individuals without considering their feelings, unless someone believes that gay men or anyone LGBTQ+ are just entertainment or sexual objects, or unless their intentions was to be problematic or queerphobic, then just look away and go look at stuff that you like. Stop going around and hating on others' work or threaten them to go through some horrible sh*t just so "they'll understand". Stop. You're not heroes. /vsrs /vneg

    • Believing that all representation doesn’t matter at all in fiction
    • Racism, xenophobia, using racial slurs against others, comparing a race to viruses, using AAVE words or any other language on someone just because of their race, asking questions based off of stereotypes or assume that everyone of that race know each other, etc.
    • “All Lives Matter”, "White Lives Matter", and/or "Blue Lives Matter" instead of “Black Lives Matter”
    • Cultural appropriation if you're ignorant or unknowledgeable to others' issues and cultures, or find them "trendy", or if you force your opinions on cultural appropriation down everyone's throats, especially if they are mixed
    • Ableism towards any mental illnesses/disorders/disabilities, believing they need a cure, faking it, exaggerating, believing they need a professional diagnosis, etc. Demonizing paraphilic disorders also count because they can’t control how they feel
    • Seeing paraphilic disorders as LGBTQ+
    • Seeing incest alone as LGBTQ+
    • Against incest when it's fictional or when it's not blood-related
    • Shaming picky eaters, eating disorders, etc.
    • Autism being seen as a disorder, disability, or disease, or caused by vaccines
    • Blaming those with swear words or other offensive gestures as tics for having those tics, or assuming that offensive things said by an individual with tics are an accurate reflection of themself/true opinions.
    • Pretending to have any neurodivergencey or disability for attention/money
    • Believing that suicide, or getting help is selfish, or that suicidal folks are just attention-seeking (stay the f**k away if this is you /vsrs)
    • Hating on all men(-aligned), white folks, cishets, singlets, abled, thin/slim folks, and/or neurotypicals, or use any slurs against them (this is not feminism. That's just being an a**hole /vsrs)
    • “Cringe culture”, watch or make "cringe" or "unfunny" videos/compilations for fun, or use the word “cringe” to describe others or things a lot
    • Extreme music-purists (hating on those who use autotune, accusing many singers for lip-singing, etc.)
    • Pro-gun, pro-violence, riots, support the death penalty, support domestic abuse, child abuse, and/or animal abuse, etc.
    • Parents hitting their children in any way or fashion for “discipline” (why? it gives me (actual) trauma from a stupid video I ran into. And it’s scientifically stated that it doesn’t work! /vsrs /neg)
    • Giving death threats, suicide-baiting, or otherwise cyberbullying towards anyone, even to those who are problematic or may seem “problematic” but really aren't (Seriously. Stop. /vsrs /vneg)
    • Kinkshaming, especially on those who have obscure or "weird" fetishes, or telling them that it's "cancerous" because of their kinks/fetishes/coping mechanisms, or if you’re one of those folks who post opinions, surveys, or polls about hating or disliking a fetish, especially if it’s solely just to let the world know (no one freaking said that you have to like any of them -_- /srs)
    • Participating in MAP, pedophilic/grooming, zoophilic, "pedosexual", etc. behaviors on real children, animals, etc. (please stop and seek help. If you refuse, go f**k yourself and I hope you suffer /vsrs).
    PSA
Having paraphilic disorders and using other coping strategies doesn't count, and for those of you who would go around and shame/threaten/false report them because of their coping mechanisms such as fictional drawings or ships, or call others including me a pedo, zoophile, or whatever other term for understanding paraphilic disorders and their coping mechanisms, you are terrible and disgusting and stay the f**k away from us.

You don't have to like their fetishist drawings, ships, etc. (I don't, I'm not a fan, and plus it's illegal here in the US), but unless they're doing it in reality, just leave them alone, period. /vsrs /vu

    • Making anything such as polls asking if an identity is valid or not, or about deleting a term in the beware section (it’s there for a reason /lu)
    • Not giving anyone who accidentally came off as problematic and genuinely didn’t mean to a chance (instantly DNIing them, refusing to forgive them, etc.) This also counts if someone used to be problematic but is no longer problematic and has genuinely apologized. (I guess it depends on what they did, but for the love of god just please recognize that the individual(s) changed for the better. Change exists /vsrs)
    • Arguing over trivial things too seriously (in a non-light-hearted way) (ex: saying to a cat lover “dogs are so much better, get a dog, you’re a loser if you don’t like dogs”. And yes, taking pineapple on pizza seriously or saying "why watch it if you can just play it?" with mocking/serious intentions also counts)
    • Extreme grammar policing, sentence policing, things that nobody asked for non-lightheartedly (paragraphs don’t count. Editing pages or correcting someone for using outdated terminology that is or can be potentially harmful also don’t count)
    • Accusing every single company or celebrity you run into for pink capitalism or "supporting for attention", even if they are actually really supportive (please stop, it's really annoying and unfair /vsrs /neg)
    • Shaming others for not going by/preferring “person” and instead “individual”, “folk”, etc.
    • Shaming others for not liking horror or for looking scary, such as on Halloween
    • Not understanding/refusing to understand that some individuals don't prefer to talk a lot or at all, especially with a group of strangers/acquaintances, and that's just the way it is. I'm so sorry that not everyone is an extrovert (/sarc). Don't force me to talk when I don't f**king want to - /neg /srs /pa to some extroverts
    • Being highly critical of TV shows, movies, books, games, aesthetics, or trends (in a bad way), or quick to calling them bad or dumb, especially in modern times and remakes (calling out actual problematic bits such as racism, sexism, etc. doesn't count)
    • Honestly if you’re just mean, ignorant, judgmental, a troll, a manipulative liar, get overly jealous (especially for no reason), or snobby in general
    • And lastly, excusing anything on this DNI list. And yes, calling me an SJW or the "L Slur" behind my or others' back or making sh*t-posts, including of how long this DNI list is, counts.

    ➤ Sexuality

Is there a term for experiencing different sexualities for different genders at the same time? /genq

-Danni (he/they+ neos) Systeroamia (talk) 02:09, March 16, 2022 (UTC)

If I'm understanding the question, novosexual seems to fit. Oculusleviathan (talk) 16:28, April 19, 2022 (UTC)

➤ Is there a term for

Is there something similar to gendervoid except your gender’s neutral (or in my case aporagender) but feel that genders should be there but aren’t? Or can gendervoid still be used for that? /genq

    Coining Terms

Proof of coined terms from Systeroamia go here.

    ➤ Coining Idiosexual and Idioromantic

Idiosexual is a term for multigender individuals who experience different sexual attractions for each gender or each category of genders that they experience at the same time. This can also include different m-spec, ace-spec, fluid, and/or flux identities as well. (meee)

Idioromantic is a term for multigender individuals who experience different romantic attractions for each gender or each category of genders that they experience at the same time. This can also include different m-spec, aro-spec, fluid, and/or flux identities as well.

    Etymology

The prefix idio is a Latin word meaning “own, personal, distinct”.

    ➤ Question for Mods

Are we allowed to make edits on the FAQ page?

I'm thinking of changing the usage of people to individuals since individuals is more accepted and inclusive to use for everyone especially for alterhumans and otherkin like me. please don't be mad

    /genq /npa /nm

    That is fine.

    ➤ Another question

Idk, I feel like I need to ask permission for this. For blogs such as System, Regression, and Part 1, 2, and 3 of finding your orientation.. is it okay to edit those? I'm sorry, I'm nervous because of the fact that it's under Blog Posts and I felt like I needed to ask permission. /genq

➤ Request to put trigger warnings in articles

Hi, I was wondering if editors can put trigger warnings for some passages (perhaps in a smaller text?) in articles such as Travesti, which mentions about hate crimes and discrimination, and Transine, which mentions about being seen as fakeclaiming. /genq - Danni (he/they/it+) --Systeroamia (talk) 23:29, May 26, 2022 (UTC)

Mod Notice: Hey Systeroamia, I've moved your DNI to this page. Your creation of https://lgbta.miraheze.org/wiki/Our_DNI_List is not suitable for its own wiki article, and more suitable for your own user page. I have hence deleted the page. Jeb_CC, Co-Bureaucrat | (xe/xem/xir) (talk) 00:41, March 25, 2022 (UTC)

    I understand, and thanks /g /npa

    Request

Hey, could y’all please change the headers to not be of a special font? It may be difficult for screen reader users to understand what the screen reader is saying. /nm /grq -Marie

Oh that's true, sorry about that! - Danni (he/they/it+)

Can I just make a page about inclusive language

As someone who's otherkin, I'm very sad that the alterhuman page was removed. I mean I get why it's removed, because of information being more accurate and such, but now how is anyone here now supposed to know that "individuals" is more inclusive than "people" and "person"?? /vneg

Can I just create a page that talks about inclusive language? Because we have nothing now... /genq - Danni (he/they/it+) --Systeroamia (talk) 02:22, July 14, 2022 (UTC)
