I tried on a bunch of hats and none of them fit so for a while I was wondering if I needed to resize my head. But it turns out sometimes you just haven't found the right hat, or you might even need to tailor your own hat, and that's okay. It's just a hat, after all.

I legally changed my name to Andy the day after I turned 18. I just so happened to pick out that name only 5 days earlier. I proceeded to then tell everyone I had changed my name, most of which seemed surprised but not that surprised because I am a bit chaotic at times.
I studied Japanese for 200 hours, and then dropped the subject right before the final exam.
I have a voracious urge to cook for anyone who comes over to my house, because I am simultaneously someone who will cater to your every whim and also ask you to piss off when I get tired.
My friend guessed that I was trans when I was 14, and instead of self-reflecting about why she thought that, I remained in denial for another four years until I had to face myself. I wasn't especially keen in what I saw but after a bit of therapy and a gap year, I can safely say I do not hate myself (for the most part). Part of this may be because instead of self-deprecating humour, I've switched over to making jokes about how amazing I am.
I've written around 500'000 words of fanfic but cannot share it with my family because I am terribly embarrassed to be a fanfic writer and so much of it is angst. The woes and whims of being me, I spose.
I told my mum I was afraid of boats to avoid a ferry trip, but got very called out by her that I then pretended to be afraid of boats for another five years. Some people have told me I'm stubborn and eccentric.
