Orgasm-averse is an orgasm stance that describes an individual who is repulsed by the idea of personally having an orgasm. The term is commonly used by asexual spectrum individuals, but is not exclusive to this community or sexuality.
Orgasm-averse individuals may find the idea of personally having an orgasm undesirable, uninteresting, uncomfortable, or generally unwanted. They do not feel the same way about orgasms that does not involve themselves. Sex-averse individuals may be fine with or interested in discussing orgasms as a concept.
Some individuals may be repulsed by certain forms of orgasm, while feeling favorable or indifferent towards others. The term orgasm-ambivalent may be used to describe this experience.
Some individuals may be repulsed by orgasms due to trauma or exhaustion. The term orgasm-drained may be used to describe this experience.
Orgasm-averse individuals may also identify as antimilo.
