    The swapattractional flag.
    The alternate swapattractional flag.

Swapattractional refers to those whose sexual orientation and romantic orientation swap. It can be considered a subset of abrosexual/abroromantic. Swapattractional individuals are varioriented, meaning their orientations are different, incongruous, or split. For example, someone who is heterosexual and homoromantic. With swapattraction, their orientations would switch, making them homosexual and heteroromantic at times.

One does not have to label their orientations to be swapattractional. One might only know the gender(s) they are attracted to and/or that their orientations swap.

    History

The term was coined by Tumblr user synpa-tee on September 24, 2021. The flag was created by the same user on the same day.[1]

    Flag

The swapattractional flag has five stripes: a navy blue stripe, a purple stripe, a red-purple stripe, and two light green stripes of different values. Navy blue represents men, man-aligned genders, masculinity, a-spec identities, and fluidity. Purple represents sexuality, ace-spec identites, non-binary genders, and the "swapping" of orientations. Red-purple represents women, woman-aligned genders, femininity, and romanticism. Green represents aro-spec identities, abinary genders, and neutrality. And the lighter green represents atrinary genders and outherinity.

The alternate swapattractional flag was created by Tumblr user synpa-tee on September 24, 2021, and selected the next day.[2] Navy blue represents men, man-aligned genders, masculinity, a-spec identities, and fluidity. Red represents women, woman-aligned genders, femininity, and sexuality. Green represents agender identities, neutral genders, and genders outside of the binary. Orange represents change and identity. And pink represents romanticism and love.
