Hemi-Pansexual also known as Media-Pansexual, is term for pansexual individuals who may experience less attractions to one or more genders they are attracted to. Although, hemi-pansexuals individuals are still willing to have feelings or relationships for, and might have visualized themselves in a relationship with, people of that/those gender(s).
Reasons as to why someone may identity as hemi-pansexual may be, but not exclusive, fear, discomfort, or any other feeling that may get the individual to be hesitant to be in a relationship with/have feelings for said gender(s). Said fears/discomfort varies from person to person, along with it might not be the primary reason as to why, possible causes can be from home environment to dysphoria or trauma.
Other reason as someone can identity as hemi-pansexual can be for labels/terms, not everyone is comfortable with labels such as, "pan with a preference," "panromantic/omniromantic", "omnisexual", etc. Although this term can combined with any other if wanted by the individual.
