    The acemid flag.

Acemid is an identity that describes someone that is strictly asexual, but not strictly aromantic, while still being on the aromantic spectrum. Someone who is asexual and aroflux-diamoric, for example, could call themselves acemid.

The term can also be combined with a sexuality, or used as a sole identity. The same person above could choose to call themselves a diamoric acemid.

    History

It was publicly coined November 21, 2019, and made in mind for people who felt limited by not using the split attraction model, or in choosing to simplify their identity as either 'aroace' or 'allo ace '. Along it the terms aromid and amid were coined, all with similar intentions.[1]

Those who are on both the aro and ace spectrum but not strictly both aromantic and strictly asexual all fall under the mid label, which is the collective term for acemids, amids, and aromids.

The acemid flag is pictured to the right. It is an amalgamation of the aroace flag by aroaesflags[2]. In place of the orange and yellow are shades of purple for asexuality.
