Vixenamoric is a term that means women who love exclusively women. It was coined by Twitter users @ssapphrodite and @viixenyy to "distance lesbians attracted exclusively to femininity from non-binary, he/him and they/them lesbians"[1], due to many lesbians' spaces being invaded by them.[2] People who use the term vixenamoric believe that pronouns equal gender, mainly due to the pronouns don't equal gender argument being a common excuse used to misgender trans people, as well as the mindset of she/her = female and he/him = male being extremely common in today's world. However, there are many other reasons. The term has caused discourse and backlash, notably on Twitter, due to people watering down the term "lesbian" to "non-men who love non-men" and the people who are against that.
Many she/her lesbians who are against he/him and they/them lesbians (also called longsword lesbians, similar to battle-axe bisexuals) believe that the "disconnect/complicated relationship with womanhood" and therefore reluctancy to use she/her pronouns, comes from internalized misogyny. However, people who support he/him and they/them lesbians disagree.
