Virtuamory is the capability or desire to be in an online relationship with more than one person at once. Virtuamorous can be used both as a description of an online relationship with more than two people and as description of people who desire such relationships. Virtuamorous relationships can be romantic, sexual, or both; they may also be based on tertiary attraction such as queerplatonic relationships. Virtuamory is not considered cheating, because all parties are aware of all other parties involved and consent to their involvement. Virtuamory can be as simple as an open online relationship or it can be three or more people who are all in an online relationship with each other. Virtuamory is not a sexuality on its own, but more of a description of how one can experience attraction. Virtuamorous people can have any sexuality.
