Welcome! {Intro}
Hello!! We are The Redemptions, a traumagenic, stressgenic, multigenic, non-disordered system. Please refer to the members of the system here as headmates, sysmates, or members, stuff of the like. We are not comfortable with being called alters, so please do not do so. Anything other than that, besides potentially offensive terms like "personalities" or "alter egos" et cetera, are pretty much fine unless we say otherwise. We are happy to meet you(&) :]
Our collective name is Redemptions, and collectively our pronouns are they/them. If you(&) are referring to us as a whole, use the ampersand (&) alongside what you(&) are saying, please. We may or may not use it for ourselves.
Notes
- Again, do not call us "alters"
- LGBTQ+ heavy
- Though our system itself started out/originated from trauma, we are inclusive of all system types
- Exact member count will not be disclosed for privacy reasons, the headmates listed here are not all of us
- A lot of our switches may be covert (meaning you can not tell if a switch has happened unless stated)
- Diagnosis status on anything will not be shared, this is not your(&) information to know about
- Some headmates have typing quirks
- Our current headspace is being worked on and you(&) might not get to hear about it a lot
- We have non-human or partially non-human headmates
- We do not have very many feminine/female-oriented headmates, which is possibly due to some trauma
- Our triggers will not be listed openly, but we may ask you(&) to spoiler something
- Only one person we know IRL knows we are a system, and that is the host's queerplatonic partner, who(&) is also a system!

- A lot of us still struggle with our identity as a system, and struggle with accepting that fact, so some small acts of support like "hey you're doing good" or something can go a long way :')

System Terminology
Here are some terms we use and their definitions to us:
- Baby: headmates ages 0-3
- Toddlers: headmates ages 4-6
- Middles: headmates ages 7-12
- Teens: headmates ages 13-17
- Adults/Bigs: headmates ages 18 and over
- Covert Switches: a term used for systems where it is hard to tell if they have switched without stating so
- Age Constant: a lot of our members are age constant, meaning they stay the same age no matter what
- Age Sliding: some of our members age slide, which means they "slide" (aka change) ages often
- Oculovism: a headspace that needs to be deeply invisioned by a headmate before being able to see the actual headspace
- Somvisum: a headspace that is mainly envisioned through daydreams
