Turigirl (turiagirl, girlgay, gaygirl, vincigirl, florigirl, vinciagirl, uranigirl, uraniagirl, girlcian, galcian, veldigirl or veldiagirl, girl turian, veldian woman, etc) is an identity for someone who in some way identifies as a girl/woman/gal that is gay for men (turian/vincian/floric/uranian). It can include:
- Someone who is cusper experiencing queer attraction to men.
- Someone who is cross-aligned (a man-aligned/solarian girl or woman-aligned/lunarian boy)
- A multigender individual or someone who otherwise identifies as male and female simultaneously (girlboy/boygirl) and feels attraction to men.
- An individual who is genderfluid and identifies as a veldian, even when they are female.
- A centrigender individual experiencing a gender in between fiaspec and miaspec while mascic.
- A turiagender/vinciangender woman or feminenby/girlby.
The term may be useful for pleonotic individuals.
The femaric man counterpart is lesboy.
History and Flag
The girlgay flag was designed by deactivated Tumblr user stormymeadowsys on or before July 28, 2021.[2]
The first official usage of turigirl may have be found in a post by Tumblr user blankmogai on July 30, 2021. The turigirl flag was created by the same user on the same date.[1] The term turiagirl had been in usage before this.
The gaygirl flag was designed by Twitter user fairyhoof on August 12, 2021.[3]
The veldiagirl flag was designed by Twitter user B0YVINCIAN on or before September 26, 2021.[4]
