The stellate orientation system is a group of terms to describe the genders one is attracted to. All terms in this system are non-exclusive; they do not indicate any information about one's own gender and do not inherently indicate any stacity, exclusivity or preference - simply that one experiences an attraction to a certain gender or groups of genders in some form.

The -stellic suffix is taken from the word "stellate", which refers to something that resembles a star in shape (derived from the Latin word "stellatus", meaning "star"). This theme is used simply as a naming device, to distinguish the terms from others (similarly to the terms in the galactian alignment system), though the multiple points of a star shape may be seen to represent the many aspects of one's identity.

    Usage

These terms may be combined with other identities in any way one feels is accurate. One may add prefixes and suffixes, such as "demi-" "-flux" "-fluid" and "-spike", to indicate a specific experience of attraction if one wishes, for example: "demitrixstellic" or "trixstellicflux". One may also add suffixes specifying a type of attraction, such as -sexual or -romantic, for example: "trixstellic-sexual" or "trixstellic-romantic".

These terms may be used to refer to any type of attraction or orientation. They may be used as adjectives to describe aspects of one's attraction, or one may use them as identities - whether combined with other identities or used on their own.

They may also be used as general terms, encompassing identities that involve attraction to certain genders or groups of genders. For example, "trixstellic" attraction may include (but is not limited to): sapphic, trixic, femsexual, finsexual, pansexual, and some bisexual attractions, as well as any split attractions, romantic attractions, tertiary attractions, fluid attractions or fluctuating attractions that involve an attraction to fiaspec and/or finspec genders. The term trixstellic can be used by anyone who fits its definition in some way.
