    The liaspec flag.

The liagender spectrum or liaspec (also called the mesogender spectrum or mesospec) is an umbrella term for anyone who is both the fiaspec and miaspec. This includes anyone whose gender is female and male/wifgender and wergender, partly male and partly female, male-aligned or adjacent and female-aligned or adjacent, is somewhere in between maleness and femaleness, or is similar to or in some way resembles maleness and femaleness. It is similar to, but not necessarily the same as lingender. Lingender includes genders that are related to androgyny, but are not necessarily related to maleness and femaleness. Liaspec includes genders that are related to both maleness and femaleness (even if they are not androgynous). They do not necessarily have to identify with notions of androgyny or be androgynous-aligned. Examples of liaspec genders may include: androgyne, femache, eclipsian, bigender (sometimes), etc. Liagender can also be used as a gender on its own.

The state of having a liagender or having a gender which exists on the liagender spectrum is called liaty.

    History

Liaspec was coined by momma-mogai-sphinx on March 24, 2019.[1] The flag was created on October 2, 2019.[2] The term was created as a shorter way to say "androgyne people, people who are partially male/female, or are androgyne-aligned".
