Saturnic is the attraction to androgynous-aligned non-binary individuals, including androgynes, ambonec individuals, saturnians, eclipsians, galaxians, celestarians, and other lingender individuals. One is not attracted to monogender men or women. This orientation is mostly used by non-binary individuals to describe their attraction without relying on the gender binary but can be used by anyone. The term can be used as a sexuality on its own or can be combined with other orientations.

Similar terms include androgynesexual, ceteramoric, ceterosexual, enbian, enboric, stellaric, and terraric. The feminine equivalent to saturnic is neptunic. The masculine equivalent is uranic.

    History

The term and flag were created by Tumblr user arco-pluris on May 19, 2018.[1].

An alternate saturnic flag was created by Twitter user 1832Rebellion on October 31, 2020.[2] The colors of the flag are closer to those of the planet Saturn.

Another alternate saturnic flag was created by Twitter user strwbryfemme on May 2, 2021. [3]

Twitter user strwbryfemme also made a higher contrast saturnic flag for art, and a 4 stripe version on June 22, 2021. @strwbryfemme's flags should be used with caution as fawn has a history of exclusionism against m-spec lesbians. [4][5]

Other 4-striped saturnic flags were made by FANDOM user ElderflowerJuice on July 27, 2021.[6]
