Punctumcollectors are Termcollectors who feel the need to use all the labels that one of their genders, sexualities, or pronouns encompasses. Punctumcollectors may feel uncomfortable using umbrella terms, as they feel too broad, or they might collect umbrella terms because it encompasses one of their labels.
Some examples of Punctumcollectors are:
- People who are non-binary and pansexual, and feel the need to identify as sapphic, achillean, and diamoric, because pansexual encompasses all of those labels.
- Someone who uses auxiliary pronouns and neopronouns, and feels the need to label themselves as neopronoun and auxiliary pronoun users.
- Someone who feels the need to have every aspect of their identity labeled, especially using micro-labels.
