History
The term prideship was coined by a user going by Weniviere, alongside prigender, priromantic, and prisexual on December 2nd, 2020. She decided to make these terms because of the consistent attacks among the community and the constant troll terms, and how those attacks effected her identities. She discovered that the amount of pride she feels within her identities changes how they feel and react, hence finalizing her decision to coin said terms.
Flag
The flag for prideship was coined by Weniviere on December 2nd, 2020. The rainbow represents pride and the LGBTQ+ community as a whole. The design represents the uniqueness of how ones relationship feels, and the uniqueness of every persons relationships as an individual.
