Priromantic

The priromantic flag.

Priromantic is a modifier for ones romantic orientation in which one's pride in one's identity/ies affects one's romantic orientation/orientations. This could be pride in their sexual orientation, romantic orientation, relationship, genders, etc. Being priromantic may make one's orientation fluctuate, change, and/or affect how it feels depending on how much pride one is feeling in their identities. It can be considered as a subset to abromantic or aroflux.

The sexual counterpart to priromantic is prisexual.

Terms derived from the same word include prideship and prigender.

History

The term priromantc was coined by a user going by Weniviere, alongside prigender, prisexual, and prideship on December 2nd, 2020. She decided to make these terms because of the consistent attacks among the community and the constant troll terms, and how those attacks affected her identities. She discovered that the amount of pride she feels within her identities changes how they feel and react, hence finalizing her decision to coin said terms.

Flag

The flag for priromantic was coined by Weniviere on December 2nd, 2020. The rainbow represents pride and the LGBTQ+ community as a whole. The heart design represents the uniqueness of how one's romantic attraction feels, and the uniqueness of every person's attraction as an individual.
