Philandrous refers to someone who feels fondness, love, or admiration towards men. It's not necessarily an attraction to men, it is a feeling of admiration or fondness towards all of manhood.[1] Simply respecting men does not mean one is philandrous. Being philandrous means one has a certain feeling of love and likeness towards the general idea of men, without necessarily being attracted to them in any way.
