Petalfluid is a sub-identity of petalgender, which is a fluid non-binary xenogender between states of neutrality, femininity, xeninity, and being unaligned. It is connected to non-physical beings, an overgrown cottagecore aesthetic, and multiple different animals. It can be described as cute, small, delicate, soft, anxious, and related to muted pastels.
Petalfluid is very similar to genderfluid in the aspect that the animal chosen can change. One may go from small animals, such as bunnies and mice, to other prey animals like deer. Domesticated animals, such as cats and dogs, fall under this identity as well.
Often, those who are petalgender may not be able to explain their gender due to neurodivergence, and may be considered genderfluid, genderdoe, and/or agender.
