The anaesthetic spectrum, also called anaesthetic umbrella is a group of aesthetic orientations that fall under the umbrella term of anaesthetic. Individuals on this spectrum may completely lack aesthetic attraction, not feel it in the "standard" amount or not feel it in the "standard" way. Those on the anaesthetic spectrum, as well as the spectrum itself, are often referred to as "anae-spec" for short.
