Nepcurious (pronounced nep-cure-e-us), is a state of questioning if one is neptunic. One may usually consider themselves to be finsexual, enboric, a-spec, or another sexuality, but is unsure if they are neptunic. This term may refer to a questioning of any form of one's attraction.
One may identify as nepcurious for a number of reasons, such as:
- One is primarily attracted to non-binary genders, but is questioning if they may be attracted to women.
- One is primarily attracted to women, but is questioning if they may be attracted to non-binary genders.
- One is primarily attracted to women and feminine-aligned non-binary people, but is unsure if they may be attracted to neutral non-binary genders.
- One is a-spec, and is unsure if their orientation is neptunic.
It may be considered a broader version of gynecurious, and a more specific version of bicurious or questioning.
