Mooncoric is a coric xenogender based on the mooncore aesthetic. The aesthetic invokes imagery relating to the moon, things related to the moon, and its concepts, impacts, and other associated things/aesthetics. Mooncoric as a gender revolves around those things.
History
Mooncoric was coined on September 17, 2020 by MOGAI tumblr blog MOGAI Monarchs. The flags were designed by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs on May 1, 2021 at the request of a discord user named saku.
Flag
The first two flags represent the nighttime colors and aspects of mooncore and mooncoric, and the colors of the third flag additionally represent the moon and moonlight. It was originally the first flag but due to eyestrain concerns was made an alternate.
