Mooncoric was coined on September 17, 2020 by MOGAI Tumblr blog MOGAI Monarchs.
Flag
The mooncoric flags were designed by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs on May 1, 2021 at the request of a discord user named saku.
The first two flags represent the nighttime colors and aspects of mooncore and mooncoric, and the colors of the third flag additionally represent the moon and moonlight. It was originally the first flag but due to eyestrain concerns was made an alternate.
