Makriaplatonic is an a-spec identity where someone experiences platonic attraction to someone in their presence or near them, but their attraction amplifies when they're further away and no longer in that person's presence. They still experience platonic attraction when near the person as well, it's just amplified when they're no longer around them.
The sexual counterpart of makriaplatonic is makriasexual, and the romantic counterpart is makriaromantic.
