Makriaromantic is an identity where someone experiences romantic attraction to someone in their presence or near them, but their attraction amplifies when they're further away and no longer in that individual's presence. Makriaromantic individuals experience romantic attraction when near the individual as well, it's just amplified when they're no longer around them.
