A Longsword Lesbian (LSL) is a term for exclusionary lesbians fighting against lesbian erasure. This group believes that any ‘lesbian’ that doesn’t use she/her is not valid. They also believe that non-binary lesbians and m-spec lesbians are not lesbians either. LsL includes vixenamoric and sapphomoric, although not all longsword lesbians use those identities. They are against ‘lesbian’ being used as an umbrella term.
There is nothing wrong with being a LsL and their arguments just make logical sense. The definition of ‘lesbian’ is a women who loves women. Trying to argue otherwise is idiotic.
