Kantogender is a xenogender that is strongly influenced by or is connected to the Pokémon region Kanto, Kantonian Pokémon, or characters from Kanto or the story of the generation 1 games due to neurodivergence.
Similar terms include Johtogender, Hoenngender, Sinnohgender, Unovagender, Kalosgender, Alolagender and Galargender.
History
Kantogender was coined on December 13, 2020 by Twitter user MiracIemask. The flag was created at the same time. The flag is said to have been inspired by the starter Pokémon of Kanto.[1]
