    The Intramasculine Flag

Intramasculine, or intra-masc (not to be confused with intramasc) is a gender modality for AMAB transgender, non-binary, and isogender individuals who have a masculine (or partially feminine) gender, or feel that masculinity strongly influences their gender. They may be miaspec, mingender, or present masculinely, but still are not cisgender men. Intersex people can also use this term.

This may be considered to AMAB counterpart to transmasculine.

    The feminine equivalent is intrafeminine.

    History

The intramasculine label was coined by Instagram user @mogai.terms on March 18, 2021. It was made with the purpose of giving a label to AMAB masculine-aligned/man-aligned people, since the transmasculine label only applies to AFAB people.

    Flag

The intramasculine was made at the same time that the label was coined, by the same person. Light yellow stands for intersex and isogender intra-mascs, light blue for intra-mascs who are only partially masculine in gender alignment, medium blue for intra-mascs who feel their gender is very strongly masculine, and the dark blue in the center is symbolic of feeling masculine within + relating to ones non-cisgender identity.
