Not to be confused with Imagiromantic.

    The imageromantic flag.

Imageromantic (most commonly referred to as imagineromantic) is a romantic orientation on the aromantic spectrum defined as the romantic attraction to all genders, while not wishing to engage in the action outside of one's own thoughts and fantasies. Imageromantic can be paired with any gender-specific sexual orientation.

    The sexual counterpart is imagesexual.

    History

Imageromantic was first coined on May 3rd, 2019 by tumblr user pop-pop-rockz[1]. Imageromantic was first described by the creator as the joy of imagining romantic scenarios between the identifier and others, but refusal to act upon said feelings due to lack of interest or fear.

The original post was remade on May 29th, 2021 by the same user[2]. The flags did not change from the original post, but the definition did change to the one currently used. The user states in the original post and the revamped post that he does not identify with imageromantic, and instead exclusively identifies with imagesexual.

    Flag

The flag was created in 2019 by the user pop-pop-rockz[1] and consists of 5 stripes with a white and red explosion decal off to the right. The original post described the flag's stripes as; pink for love, red for one's heart and blush, white for the clouds or one's imagination, and the explosion decal for a heartbeat. The remade post describes the flag's stripes as; pink for innocent love and daydreams, red for intense love and desire, white for clouds and daydreams, and the explosion decal for fluttering emotion.
