Homospike (also called gayspike) is a microlabel under homoflexible, when someone experiences primarily same/similar gender attraction or is otherwise gay, but very rarely, but suddenly and abruptly, experiences strong and intense spikes of opposite/dissimilar gender attraction or otherwise straight attraction. These spikes are usually short lived, though, still occur. The opposite is Hetspike. It doesnt always have to be sexual attraction, and may be other forms of attraction such as queerplatonic or romantic.

Homospike was coined by FANDOM user Zer0Rebel4 on May 4th, 2021. The flags were created on the same day, and represent the sudden straight attraction in a sort of spike that those who are Homospike experience.
