    The femache flag

Femache is a non-binary gender in which one simultaneously experiences both maleness and femaleness. It is similar to androgyne, however androgyne can be used to describe a single gender that exists somewhere in between male and female, while femache is typically described as when one experiences a male gender and a female gender at the same time (liaspec), as two distinct genders. Femache does not necessarily have to be a 50/50 split. One may or may not experience other genders. Androgyne also includes experiences derived from masculinity and femininity (mascfem/lingender), while femache is specifically a male-female gender experience.

It may also be called femmache, femasle, femal, femmal, femmale, or femmasle.

    History

Femache was coined via beyond-mogai-pride-flags on October 1, 2018[1]. The name is a combination of the Spanish/Portuguese words fêmea/fembra and macho but with an -e suffixed to make the word neutral. The flag is a combination of the male and female stamp flags made by Bentonthefoxkin on DeviantArt.[2][3]

Arco-pluris then suggested other words, since some pointed out it's too similar to headache in English: machembre, femal[4] and macheme.[5]
