Etherio (E-Thur-Oh) is a gender that is strongly connected to masculinity, boyhood, and manhood, but not in the same way as a human man/boy would be connected to masculinity, boyhood and manhood. It is something completely separate and is entirely on its own from the human gender binary. It may be described as a gender that is masculine-aligned, man-aligned and/or mingender and can be miaspec, but is not humanly man aligned, so there is a connection to manhood but as otherworldly/other dimensional men would experience. This gender is a static gender, however one can be multigender, genderfluid and/or genderflux and use this. This gender can be a kingender, alterhumangender or not, but anyone can use it although it is primarily meant for alterhumans to use. Instead of using boy, one can use “etho”.
The feminine equivalent of etherio is etheria.
History
The terms etheria and etherio were coined by Tumblr user thealienicangel on August 28th, 2021.[1]

The flag was created by the same user on the same date. The black stripes represent nonhumanism, the two dark stripes of blue represent masculinity of ethereal otherworldliness, and the one bright blue stripe represents united manhood/boyhood.
Etymology
Ether comes from the word "ethereal", meaning “of or relating to the regions beyond the earth” and -o is a masculine noun used in English.
