Diurnalromantic is a term for those who feel that their romantic attraction is stronger during the day and weakens during the night, or simply doesn't exist at night. They may feel that the later it gets the more their romantic attraction weakens, or it may weaken an equal amount no matter the time of night.

    The opposite is nocturnalromantic.

The sexual counterpart is diurnalsexual, the platonic counterpart is diurnalpla.

    History and Flag

The term was coined by FANDOM user Acornfig on November 22, 2021.[1]

The flag was created by FANDOM user Itz henka gacha on the same day.[2][3] The blue represents daytime, where the yellow represents the sun. The heart differentiates it from the diurnalsexual flag.

The alternate flag was made by Tumblr user felix-makes-flag on December 17th, 2021.[4]

    Coiner Boundaries

The coiner of diurnalromantic does not consent to the creation of alternate definitions. They do consent to the creation of alternate flags. Diurnalromantic may have alternate names created if the coiner is consulted first and gives consent.
