Diurnalsexual is a term for those who feel that their sexual attraction is stronger during the day and weakens during the night, or simply doesn't exist at night. They may feel that the later it gets the more their sexual attraction weakens, or it may weaken an equal amount no matter the time of night.
The opposite is nocturnalsexual.
The romantic counterpart is diurnalromantic, the platonic counterpart is diurnalpla.
History and Flag
The term was coined by FANDOM users Stardustcollective and Acornfig on November 21, 2021, after seeing that nocturnalsexual did not have an opposite.[1]
The flag was created by FANDOM user Itz henka gacha on November 22, 2021.[2][3] The blue represents daytime, where the yellow represents the sun.
Coiner Boundaries
The coiner of diurnalsexual does not consent to the creation of alternate definitions. They do consent to the creation of alternate flags. Diurnalsexual may have alternate names created if the coiner is consulted first and gives consent.
