Dissidensaligned or dissialigned describes an experience where one's attraction isn't "correctly aligned" in terms of gender.

One example of this is someone who's gender is unrelated to masculinity, maleness, manhood, and anything derived from or related to that, but still thinks of their attraction to men as mlm. Shadowachillean or similar terms could describe experiences similar to this.

Another example is attraction to two or more genders (multisexual or bisexual) but feeling like they are differently aligned, like being nblnb and wlw, but not nblw or wlnb. Some gender-loving-gender terms can describe similar experiences, such as cinnabaric.

This could be used by itself (i.e. "I am dissidensaligned," "I am dissialigned") or as an adjective (e.g. "I am dissidensaligned achillean" "I am a dissialigned enbian and sapphic").

    History

It was originally coined with the name aliumaligned/alialigned, however the original coiner decided to rename it.

    Etymology
