Cupioplatonic is a person that does not experience platonic attraction, but desires to have a platonic relationship with someone. Cupioplatonic individuals are often platonic-favorable, but absolutely do not have to be to be cupioplatonic. The term also may be used for people who desire platonic attraction without any reason with someone.
The romantic equivalent of Cupioplatonic is Cupioromantic. The sexual equivalent of Cupioplatonic is Cupiosexual. The sensual equivalent of Cupioplatonic is Cupiosensual. The queerplatonic equivalent of Cupioplatonic is Cupioqueerplatonic.
History
The term was coined by User Httpyeello on October 9, 2021. It was not coined anywhere off-site and was coined on the LGBTA wiki.
