    The calypsian flag.
The calypsian flag with a symbol.

Calypsian is a non-binary gender alignment within the galactian system that describes those who are androgynous-aligned. It differs from eclipsian as eclipsian is described as being both solarian and lunarian, while calypsian is a combination of both, making it something else entirely.

    History

The term was coined by Tumblr user restings4dface (aka androgynousxandroidn, now soong-type-delta) November 3, 2021.[1][2]

    Flag

The calypsian flag was created by Tumblr user restings4dface on November 3, 2021. The shades of purple represent a mixture of masculinity and femininity, or for some, maleness and femaleness, as they are a mix of red/pink and blue. The circle on the second flag is the symbol for a moon, as the term calypsian is based on the Calypso moon.
