History
Caligosexual was coined before by July 3, 2016 by tumblr user terribledactyl via pride-flags-for-us.
Flags & Symbols
The first flag, by terribledacty, was posted on that date via Pride-Flags on Deviantart. The muted colors are used to represent the mist. The triangle uses the asexual flag colors but with a muted bottom stripe.
An alternate flag was coined by FANDOM user Welphereiam on January 6th, 2021. It has no confirmed meaning.
Another alternate flag was coined by a user going by Adora on January 6th, 2021. The cloud represents the foggy feeling of attraction.
The caligosexual symbol was created for a poster list of LGBT+ identity. The caligoromantic symbol was created at the same time on 27th October 2021.
