Cactusgender is plantgender in which your gender feels like a cactus, as if it hurts and it stings.

History

CactusGender was mentionned in a conversation near the end of 2020 but was concretized on the 11/26/2021 by two users named axL and Clubi. The flag was made by the user axL on discord. It was originally created for a person who's gender identity was technically described non-binary but didn't want to be considered as it.

Flag

The green shades of the flag are meant to represent that this gender is under the plantgender umbrella. The cactus represents the feeling of the gender, that it constantly hurts and stings. The purple circle is to represent the unity and harmony of the gender, despite the contradicting meaning of the cactus.
