    The cactusgender flag.

Cactusgender is a plantgender in which one's gender feels like a cactus, as if it hurts and it stings. A cactusgender individual doesn't want to be associated with the anthrogender spectrum, only with the plantgender spectrum.

    History

Cactusgender was first mentioned in a verbal conversation near the end of 2020, but it was further defined and elaborated on by two users known as axL and Clubi on November 26, 2021.

    Flag

The cactusgender flag was made by Discord user axL on an unknown date. It was originally created for someone whose gender identity was considered non-binary by technicality but did not want to be defined as such. The green shades of the flag are meant to represent that this gender is under the plantgender umbrella. The cactus represents the feeling of the gender, that it constantly hurts and stings. The purple circle is to represent the unity and harmony of the gender, with one's orientation or other identity inside the circle, despite the contradicting meaning of the cactus.
