Blanknonbinary, also known as blankenby, refers to a non-binary individual who cannot explain their non-binary gender any further than it being a blank space. It is a subset of genderblank.
The fluid equivalent is blanknonbinaryfluid, the feminine counterpart is blankgirl, the masculine counterpart is blankboy, the neutral counterpart is neutrablank, the androgynous counterpart is blankandrogyne and the xenogender counterpart is xenoblank.
History
The term was coined by Tumblr user nonbiarrow (Reddit user elhazelenby), April 20th 2021.[1]
Flag
The flag was designed by the coiner and was created on April 20th, 2021. The flag shows the genderblank flag but with an extra yellow field on the top half of the flag, representing being non-binary.[2]
