Apothialterous is a microlabel on the analterous spectrum. It means either being averse to the idea of engaging in alterous relationships and/or acts oneself, but being fine with others doing it, or being repulsed by the idea of alterousness in general.
Those who are apothialterous typically do not seek out alterous relationships.
One can be repulsed only by some (meroalterous) or all alterous acts. What counts as an alterous act may vary from person to person.
Other attractions' counterparts are: apothisexual, apothiromantic, apothiplatonic, apothisensual, apothiaesthetic and apothiqueerplatonic.
