    Apothiqueerplatonic flag

Apothiqueerplatonic is a microlabel on the aqueerplatonic spectrum. It means either: 1) being aversed by the idea of engaging in queerplatonic relationships and/or acts oneself, but being fine with others doing it, or 2) being repulsed by the idea of queerplatonicity in general.

Those who are apothiqueerplatonic typically do not seek out queerplatonic relationships.

    The alternative flag

One can be repulsed only by some (meroqueerplatonic) or all queerplatonic acts. What counts as a queerplatonic act may vary from person to person.

Other attractions' counterparts are: apothisexual, apothiromantic, apothiplatonic, apothisensual, apothiaesthetic and apothialterous.

    Etymology

The prefix apothi- comes from the Greek word apothisan, meaning repulsed.

    History and flag

Both flags were created by FANDOM user Artillery Bombardment on July 9th, 2021. Xe uploaded flags, coined the term and created a page on October 17th, 2021. She made the flags to match other apothi- orientations' flags. The pink-orange-yellow stripe(s) represent(s) the queerplatonic attraction, the red stripe(s) represent(s) repulsion, white stripes represent disconnection from the idea of queerplatonicity and the black stripe and cross (or three black stripes) means the rejection of it.
