Aphile describes someone who does not have great affection to anything nor a strong liking/taste for anyone.
Some aromantics use it to express lovelessness, nonamory, analterous-ness and agamy. It's also used as an extension to panaspec and the anattractional spectrum.
History
An image from The SAGAnthology in DiversifyLit 2016[1] alludes to lack of love as a quality of aphilic.[2] It was never fully defined until February 27th, 2019, when it was added to the definition the lack of normophilias and paraphilias.[3] Omnianattracted was suggested as an alternative by Aster in 2018 via orientando.org.[4] The definition was also based on acephilia.[5]
