Acevague is an a-spec orientation influenced partially or fully by one’s neurodivergency, for example, if autism influences one’s sexual attraction. This may be used as a standalone term, or as a term to encompass the many subsets of orientation effected by specific neurodivergencies.
History
It is unknown when this term was coined, and quite difficult to pinpoint when it was made, however it has been referrenced amongst the ace community since 2016.
Flag
The acevague flag was coined by Deviantart user transboy-lou on December 16th of 2016. It was posted for the first time on Deviantart Pride-Flags on the same date. The flag was based on the asexual flag, with the grey space representing a sense of vague-ness.
