Xmaraen (pronounced Zi-mar-ian) is a liaspec/lingender gender in the Nadurian System, one of the four Nature Systems. It is related to nature and its aesthetics, and is also aligned with androgyny. The term and the flag was coined by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs on or before February 28, 2021

Etymology

The term 'xmaraen' comes from the Maltese word 'xmara' meaning 'river'.
