Wolfgender is a xenogender that is based around or impacted by wolves and/or werewolves. Wolf gender may or may not be a kingender.

Subgenders

She-Wolfgender is a subgender of wolfgender connected to femininity in a lupine context,

Arcticgender and Timbergender are two subgenders connected to arctic and timber wolves, respectively.

Wolfpupgender is a subgender connected to younger or smaller wolf pups.

Diregender is a subgender connected to dire wolves and fossils.

Related terms include howlgender and weregender.

History

Wolfgender was coined by Tumblr user jasper-owo on March 12, 2019. It was created as an umbrella term for arcticgender and timbergender, both coined at the same time.^[1]

Shewolfgender was coined by Briarblaze.

Wolfpupgender was coined by Twitter user gendertale on October 8, 2020.^[2]

Diregender was coined by Twitter user coolcassius1 on October 20, 2020.^[3]

The brown, while, black, and golden wolfgender flags were made by the TikTok user gothp0ssum.
